The SSD is extremely fast and noiseless. Its speed is rated 7.1 on a 7.9 basis in the Windows hardware rating section. It's very easy to be installed. I think it really worth it to discard your old HDD for a much lighter, faster and of course a little bit more expensive SSD just like this.
